question and comment
Hey whats up.Ok last monday i installed my 310cc injectors and recalibrated my fmu (8:1).Well i just now drove my car (10 min ago) to see how it runs now.WOW.It runs a lot better (under boost) and pulls even harder.Definatly worth the money. My question is what would you run for boost (max)on a stock (just rebuilt)b16a2.Keep in mind i have a holly 255lph f/i fuel pump, vortec 8:1 fmu,and the 310's.My base (idle) fuel pressure has droped to 36-38psi.Also how much of a difference is there between runing a 6:1 vs the 8:1 i have now.Rite now under boost even at 8psi it's all the way in the rich are of the air/fuel gauge. There is one bar left(until the end of the gauge) and it starts to light up so i know i'm getting more then enough fuel.Would a 6:1 diaphram be better to use or is it safer if i stay with the 8:1?I have a jackson racing air/fuel and fuel pressure gauges (made by autometer).
