a question about turbo clearance issues in the CRX
Ok, I plan to put an sc61 in my CRx pretty soon. I have place racing mounts and I dont have much clearance between my stock manifold (heat shield) and the radiator. Can you guys give me some info on your turbo crx's? BTW, I have a b16 in there, hence the clearance issues. I i know I will have to take out the secondary fan (not a problem), but does anyone use a different radiator? say, a civic one? that is like a small square? Also, do the Hasport mounts set the engine farther back in the bay? cuz my axels are at an angle and i dont trust that too much.
Thanks for your help guys!

oh really? that's a releif, but I was worried abt. it cuz I heard that it can cause premature wear on the CV joints.

I plan to use overblownmotorsports.com manifold. It resembles the Full-Race one. But for only about $350 i think he told me a while back????

Some pics of my old ZC setup just to give you an idea. The SC61 is the same size as this turbo (SC50) assuming it will use the E compressor cover.

I'm not sure, but it looks like you have a lot more room for the turbo than me. Maybe becasue of my place racing mounts? Do the Hasport mounts set the motor farther back in the engine bay? I know I will have to upgrade my radiator the the newer civic one. That will give me a lil more room. But from the looks of your bay, if I put that manifold in mine it would be smaking the front like a bitch.
