Default rad question?

sorry for such a dumb quesiton, but I have a 94 gsr and planning to turbo. My rad is shot and I was wondering can i run a full flyudine or just a half?

And do i have to use a slim fan or anything out of the ordinary?

Does it matter what style mani I am running (log or equal length)?

And I have no a/c or p/s. Thanks

Default Re: rad question? (BrownGSR)

You can use either. But, the half rad will require some small modification to the lower radiator mounts. Unless you plan on just utilizing one. i.e. peg leg

Mainly this is a question of preference. The half rad will allow more space for the turbo, mani, etc, and at the same time get the job done. The full rad will probably cool better, depending on how much of a role one thinks heat soak plays. But it's a possibility that you may be limited with the design of your manifold with the full radiator. In both cases you are probably going to want a slim fan, mainly because they flow better then stock and take up less space, hence the name. The fan or fans can also be mounted on either side of the radiator, depending on how much space you need.

IMO, you shouldn't go with a Flyudine radiator. I say go with a PWR full radiator and mount two slim fans on the front (look at itr206's old setup) or if you want the extra room, get the PWR half radiator. But what do I know.
