Question about my whole setup????
I have a b16 with 80K on it i bought new eagle rods and new arias pistons 9:1 compression? I will be getting the Drag Turbo Kit next, i heard that stock engines handle about 6psi daily driven? How much boost would i be able to run with the rods and pistons? Also what kind of fuel management should i get, the kit comes with the Vortech FMU but im not sure if that will handle high boost applications? I was thinking of injectors and and inline fuel pump? I also have a V-AfC if that matters in this case Any suggestions are welcome

Re: Question about my whole setup???? (swpdb16)
do a seach its been questioned many times. but it depends what your goals are and how much money you got for fuel setup and tuning. i would get a hondata and atleast some 550cc injectors. 720cc if you wanna run over 1 bar (14psi) and spend some time on the dyno.

The motor will handle as much as the rings and walls will take, which is somewhere in the teens to be safe (under 20psi). As for fuel management...if you are big baller get the Hondata 2b or higher with the Gm map sensor upgrade to read over 11psi. http://www.hondata.com. Injectors are a must with this sytem, the FMU will handle high boost but it would be a serious pain to tune. Since you already have the V-afc, you could do the hack with the 440's or 450's but that fuel setup limits you to only 10 psi or so.
General Turbo rule of thumb....Big Boost - Big money or Mo boost - Mo money.
