question about catch can install
real simple...
should i leave the pcv valve in the system when installing a catch can??
i'm not routing it back into the intake manifold, just using a little k&n filter

Mike,
Try the ITR forum. Quite a few of them use a catch can. My idea of a catch can is a natural light ice can used to ash cigarettes

You have two choices.
1. Leave the PCV valve in its place and it will be fine.
2. Remove the PCV valve and seal the hole in the manifold.
personally, I would remove it and seal it. If you have the catch can vented, then you already are keeping the crank ventilated (illegally) so you are fine.
BTW-if vapors are coming out of the engine, where are you letting them in? Think about it.
