Question about Boost Control with S300
I am trying to decide if getting hondata s300 or if getting chrome and a ebc would be a better decision for me. I know s300 has a boost control option but I am wondering when I change boost will I have to restart the car or anything like that? Or is it something that is real time and I can do it on the fly assuming I have a laptop hooked up correct?
If this is not the case does anyone know of a ebc that will allow me to change boost on the fly without having to do anything else besides change the setting?

s300 boost control is great. And yes it is in real time and can do it on the fly, assuming you have a laptop hookedup

A good EBC will cost more than half the cost of a S300 with boost control option.
Not to mention How well the S300 works and customer support that comes along with it.
No brainer!!

S300 boost control is awesome. Now that it has by gear and rpm, you can set it to ramp. Even with more power than last year, I've been able to get better traction now that I can adjust by rpm. Mighty fine system for the money.

Hmm well it looks like s300 it is although I do hate having to have a laptop around to do anything, but I know it does have a lot more other useful functions that I might want to use other then boost control that would need a laptop as well.
Thanks a lot for the advice!

is it boosting too much or too little? If its boosting too much it may be a problem with the ecu where its grounding the solenoid out all the time. I've seen a couple ecus randomly do this for no apparent reason.

Ectune you can set up a 10k potentiometer to increase and decrese boost on the fly, no laptop. now you gotta admit thats slick!
