Default Quality Turbo Bands?

I've been scouting around the local junks yards and I've been wonding what are some quality brand turbos I should be looking for? Right now I've been going for these ones:

Turbonetics
Garrett
IHI
Percision

Does anyone know of any other brands I should be looking for? I want to stay away from the cheap ones that you find on ebay that last only 500 miles.

I'm not in the USA, so I have also been looking for RB26's and stuff like that.

Also, is it possible to tell the difference between a normal turbo and a ball bearing one from the outside? Would I have to write down the model information and look it up? It is my understanding that I can't get the ball bearing turbos rebuilt if they are bad, is this right?
