Default QQ: Dry Nitrous + Rich = Safe?

I have a quick question just to be safe.

My car's running rather rich throughout the whole RPM range (Fully built LS head with stg.3 cams, stock block). If I were to squeeze a dry 50 shot (with stock redline of 7K RPM), do you guys think I'll be safe?

TIA,
Mark

Yeah, that's pretty conservative. Just be sure to get colder plugs.

I could see you running a 75 shot no problem.

PS- Redline doesn't matter as long as you don't hit fuel cut.

if you would run 50hp worth of boost on your fuel/efi system then you can run 50hp worth of nitrous. Oxygen is oxygen.

I forgot to mention that I'm still using stock injectors.

First off, why are you running so rich?

Get it tuned the right way (CROME or Hondata) and you will see some nice gains.

It was mild-tuned on s100 (with a way-off TPS... my fault right there).

Do you know how rich you are and what your AFR's are going to be like when the shot hits? Probably not.

Honda-Tech seems to put a great emphasis on AFR's when in reality timing is a bigger part of the equation. I wouldn't run anything until you get your car straightened out. If it was on a stock ECU I'd say pull some timing through the dizzy run a colder plug and call it a day. the problem is now No one knows where you timing is nor your fuel......you need to get these fixed.
