My buddy just got his ls/vtec turbo tuned at 16psi making 405whp and around 320tq on 93 octane. (No Sleeves)
I have a stock bore b16a turbo (everything built internally except sleeves) Being tuned Monday. I want to run 18psi and hope that is somewhat safe. Turbo is t3/t4 60 trim. Is anybody else running something similar or know someone that is?
Dyno is a dynapak used on both motors.
Really good thread keep the info coming.

I ran over 25psi on pump gas on a 57 trim .63 now i run over 22psi daily on a GT35R .63 pump gas and had it up to 27psi a few times. But its a VW 1.8T so i dont know, timing is around 15-18 btdc from 5k-7.5k
Does anyone know what kind of boost level a t3/t4 60 .63 trim can produce before you exceed its efficiency and it just blows hot air?

no, on a 57 trim i was still making more power at 25psi then i did at 21psi. I believe the 60 trims you can boost them to 30psi
