For a full time race car I dont really see any cons and many are doing that nowadays. One of the pros is that facing it forward you get that ram-air effect. Oh yeah, it looks awesome too!

Just make sure you cover up the turbo with a Nerf ball or something when it's not running. I have a Ramhorn with a velocity stack, the one time I didn't cover it up, I got some debris in it and had to get a new turbine. My stupid *** put my car on the trailer and didn't cover the stack, it picked up a rock from the road or something. Other than that I don't see any cons to a front mount.

Re: PROS AND CONS OF FRONT MOUNT MANIFOLD
ok like stated front mount turbo mani's are mainly for strip driving only figure the longer the runners are the more turbo lag down low you will have but it will give you a taller top end with more power higher in the rpm's i have ran almost every kind of turbo manifold you can think of i even had Lovefab make me a custom front mount Excaliber manifold for a built D series i had at the time and that manifold is now on my bro's car but there are all different kinds of drag manifolds such as top mounts and front mounts but the main cons of going with a front mount is sucking things into the turbo and the installing of said piece.
If your not looking at making 7-800+ hp you don't need a front mount turbo mani hell you dont even need a front mount turbo mani ever there are guys making 800+ on ram horns and topmounts
