I see a LOT of these for sale in the FI forum. What's up?

I have a profec b type 1, works great, never had a problem with it.

They're accurate, reliable, and affordable.

They just lack some pizzaz.

I love mine as well, easy as hell and so far has never spiked/over boosted

some people probably like the pretty graphics of other controllers.

Kind of expensive for what you get but it works great, nothing like being able to change boost electroniclly from the cockpit.

When you need something else thats important for your car and dont have money. The profec is worth some dough. lol

If U see a profec B on sale it's because they're getting the Profec B2 or Hondata w/boost option. The B is great and simple to use.

You still need a separate boost controller with Hondata. The boost option simply means your Hondata can read and compensate for fuel and timing values for boost.

The profec B doesnt have the gear dependant setting like the Apex AVCR does it? (never used an electric boost controller)
