Default problems using blue box and stock injectors?

I am on a budget and only plan on boosting 5psi.. is there a problem with using the stock injectors with the blue box.. i beielve the blue box just makes the pluses longer, but i heard the blue box runs rich.. so with small injectors would it run a bit leaner..thanks for all your help.. i tired to search but noghting came up

That greddy blue box sucks ****. Had a similar setup at the shop but with took out the blue box and put in an fmu and a fuel pump and just tuned it on afc.

You can get a used fmu for about 80 bucks inline pump about 80 bucks.

**** what that guy said. I'm running the blue box at 7 psi on my greddy turbo D16Y8 and it runs fine; a little boggy at partial-throttle boost, but what do you expect for $50? It runs fine at WOT or when racing (fine=12.5:1 AF ratio under boost) .

uninformed blue box haters

I agree. I am running the blue box at 8psi on my Y7 with no problems. I think the issue is that at 5 psi the box causes you to run righ, but at 7-8 the ratio looks just right. Check this thread out for some results (not my car, but similar).
