got a profec b spec 1 from a friend...and tossed it on another firends GSR. When we first got it in..worked like a champ...held boost steady as hell....but, after a couple days, he went to drive, and it didn't wokr...at all. But instead of just reverting back to wastegate psi..it shot up to 15 psi and he let off. Hit it a couple times...and same thing...kept going to 15psi and him letting off. The next day he drove the car...and..well, it held boost again, perfectly.

so it gets to dyno time...i drive up and meet him at his house..and the b/c isn't working again. he had his lower port going to the compressor housing..and the "in" t'd off that. I pulled the vac line off...and ran the compressor housing to the "in' port on the b/c, and the bottom port to the intake manifold (took the evap off...which is t'd to the boost gauge as well) That didn't change ANYTHING...so we just unhooked the top port and let the bottom port run the w/g...


so...anyone got any ideas? the power to the B/c never goes off..it just doens't hold boost is all.......and sometimes it holds perfectly
