Problem, please help. Boosted R, dsm 450, afc hack
Please guys I need help, I searched already and cant really find anything that helps. Ok here is the deal, I have a 2000 ITR with a t3/t4b turbo and a apexi safc, the turbo has been on the car for over a month and it was running fine on stock injectors with 4 psi of boost. Well just last week I bought some DSM 450cc injectors and put them on. I trimmed the fuel on the safc and I know the resistor box is hooked up the right way. So basically all I did was change the injectors, hook the resistor box, and trimmed the fuel down to -35 and set th points to 98-99 since all settings are the same.
Ok so I checked the check engine code. P0107 I beleive, which is MAP or Baro sensor low input, wtf is that.
Problem: It idles fine and runs alright until it gets to 5500 rpm-6000rpm. When it gets to that rpm it bogs down and starts to sputter. I took the plugs out and they look fouled out, real black. I was running Denso Iridium plugs. Also when I go to set the sensors and try to get on the flap sensor the car right away idles like **** or sometimes even shutting off. I have all the sensors set at 6 in 6 out.
I would really appreciate the help guys. Thanx alot.

No fmu, stock fuel pressure regulator. Settings are like at -34 from 5k-7k and on 8k I have it set at -32. From what I have read is that most everybody sets the settings like at -35. All I want is to get the car driveable and then get tuned.
It is reading vacuum properly. So all three sensors are supposed to be set at 6 in 6 out, right?? Also what would cause the car to cut off when I want to adjust the flap sensor. Thanx alot guys I really appreciate it.

You don't have a FLAP sensor. You have a MAP sensor.... that might help some....

Have you tried closing the gap on your plugs? You could very well be blowing out the spark in boost. Close to gap to .028/.030 and try it again.
Yeah I bought new plugs and gapped them like 32. Thats exactly what my car does, it sputters really bad under heavy throttle, I noticed that below 20% throttle it doesnt really do it. I also trimmed the fuel down to like -38 all the way. Its still running like shiet.
Check engine light came on and I checked it. MAP sensor low input<<~~ wtf can I check to figure out the problem
Sounds like ur ecu is reading boost that its not supposed to (as u've trimmed the fuel already) and it doesn't like it. I would double check the wiring on the AFC to make sure its 100%. Oh and I hope u soldered the wires and not just tapped them into the ECU
Good luck!

did you set the sensor to MAP and leave it alone? When your going through that menu, you are NOT setting different in/out's for all the sensors, you are SELECTING THE TYPE OF SENSOR YOUR CAR HAS!!!!
It nees to be set to MAP!!!!!!!!!

Not to knock what you are doing or come off as a smart ***, but I would put the stock injectors back in and run it with a FMU until you can get it tuned. You really don't need large injectors with the amount of boost you are running. Do you plan on getting a standalone soon? If not what is the most boost you plan on running with stock internals and the VAFC? I would guess no more than 7 or 8 psi. Do you have upgraded internals? When I first had my turbo installed it had the same symptoms your car is having until I put it on a dyno with a wideband. Just trying to help.
