Default problem with new boost guage. help please.

its not hooked up yet, but when i got it the needle stays at like 2 psi even though no air is going too it. is this a fucked up gauge or will it level itself out when it gets hooked up. its a phantom mechanical gauge

it should even out when its hooked up, try hooking it up and see wat happens

yah i havn't got my full kit together yet, waiting on parts, hopefully it works properly, if not maybe it'll just be 2 psi off

It should be at zero with nothing connected. It probably won't "even out" when you connect it.

well when i suck the air out of it, it goes to 0, but as soon as i let it go back in, it goes right back up

i might be mistaken - but isn't there a way to "calibrate" autometer boost gauges with a small screwdrive (like the kind for glasses)??

ummm if thier is i have no idea where u would stick that driver, i don't see anything when i look at it, anyone else?

hook the gauge up and see what happens. When your under full throttle, the gauge should read 0, it should only take you like 10 minutes max to hook the gauge up.
