Default problem with my Type S BOV

hey all,

for a while, my BOV has been really really loose.. i mean, i won't even be boosting and it will emit a pretty loud sound. well, i went to tighten it, and started turning the nut. then, after turning a couple of revolutions, it's as if the bolt stripped or something. i took a look @ the nut and it was fine, but when i put it on the BOV, i can turn and turn and turn it forever.

any ideas?

thanks,
bryan

take the blow-off valve off the charge pipe. take it apart, not hard and you can understand how it works. take it out and re tap the threads a little bigger...maybe a little bit bigger screw. that should work just fine. and while it's apart, clean the piston and chamber with carb cleaner and oil it slightly. when you put it back on, seal it with gasket and silicone. will work like a champ.
