if you don't even have enough for a DSM BOV------junkyard probe BOV with oil in it.
I pulled a BOV from a probe that looks like it had a blown head gasket - it has some oil in it and its made of plastic.
Can I get any use out of it if I clean it? What should I clean it with - dishsoap lol - I don't want the plastic to disolve.

yah I used a bov very similar to they work great for low boost applications but once you get in the double digitis they tend to leak! Thats why I just upgraded to a HKS sequeintal bov! Oh yah and the bov sounds like a potato gun!

I have one of those too. I always got compressor surge at any decent boost level unless I let off the gas real slow. Maybe it was just my vaccuum source though. It did sound okay on mine. its for sale if anyone wants to try it.

hows $45 shipped or something. Its on the stock dsm pipe, and I also have a weld flange for it I never used. So you can weld it to a charge pipe if ya want.
