problem with code 13..help
I was driving home last night from school and all of a sudden the cel went on and when i got home i checkd it and it was 13...for some reason i get this at least once a month and until now i still dont konw the cause of the problems...when i reset the battery it will go away but hten a month later it will go back again...what should i check other than a coolant...because some people told me that my coolan is prolly low but when i check them they were fine...help..help...thanks million guys

Hey Joel. Code 13 is Barometric pressure sensor. It measures atmospheric pressure. I think it's your ecu is acting up for whatever reason. If you can get a hold another ecu, swap it out and test if for few days.

Supp Ray...are u talking about the stock ecu or my greddy ecu...but for some reason im getting it only like once a month...i hope whatever the reason is not something serious...i really wanna find out the cause of this...thanks again

Stock ecu. There's a sensor circuit that is inside the ecu and is built in.
If it's intermittent, then your ok for now since it only comes on a month later.
Try this test. Reset your ecu one more time, hold the rpms to 3k until you hear the fan comes on, let it idle after, go for a test drive in 3rd or 4th gear on WOT for 5 seconds (this will take you up to 100mph. just be careful). If it does come on, then we have an ecu problem.

just for kicks if it is a greddy turbo installed 13 has a problem witht heir blue box. greddy knows this and many greddy turbo owners throw a 13. To combat it for me warm car to normal operating temp then drive. The problem is when yo don twarm up the car and rev at a low rpm in like 2nd gear or such it throws the code. Been through it with greddy many times.

u are absolutely right..it comes on when sometimes cold start...or when i shift it to second gear and when i go to fifth gear at a speed of 20mph or 30mph...dont know y but what do u think should i do with this...do u think that its the greddy blue box then...thanks bro
