I didn't really understand your post, but you may want to post some pictures if you aren't good with words.

you need to move the fittings from the rear of the block....

put the fittings on the valve cover.

large diameter hoses only !!!! do not use small hoses, the air will carry more oil with small hose.

you can get a freeze plug for the black box(if you dont already have one) install a fitting into the freeze plug, then you have a drainback.

I don't understand either. He says he has 2 fittings welded onto the block ports in the rear which would be drainback and then he said he has 2 on the valve cover. Now the only thing I can think of is that instead of the 2 block port fittings being on the bottom of the breather to allow for drainback they are located at the top of the can which obviously wouldn't drain.

oo good catch, i didnt see that the 1st time i read it !

about the ports on the back of the block.... those are major oil drain back galleys, foward acceleration= all oil in the head getting thrown against the backside, thus most all oil draining back these rear holes.

1 suggestion would be to remove whatever fittings are in there, plug the holes shut. maybe drain into the black box hole. z10 and B&R make plugs that can be tapped and a fitting threaded into.
