Default problem with 38 mm tial HP!!!!!!!! (.9 spring)

my set up

Gsr 83mm
cp 9.0 cr
eagle rods
type r intake cam
gsr exhaust

turbo

t3/t67 ho .82
full race style manifold ( FAB-WORKS)

now this is the problem, when we dynoed the car i have a .9 bar spring in my wastegate but the lowest boost i can go was 17 lbs. When we tried boost it up through my profec b, we maxed out at 23 lbs.. Did anybody have the same problem as me? Anyway the car made good power , 567 whp and 390 lbs of trq

Ho, ****!

How's your boost controller set up?

I hooked up my Profec like a manual boost controller, and that worked *shrug*

Here's Tial's crazy instructions, I didn't follow them for my MBC. I have Manifold, to MBC, to bottom port. Top port open. I tried the Tial instructions and it worked, but the MBC screw was backwards. Not sure what happens when you hook up the EBC wrong, but if you put boost on the top port you'll hold it closed.

Your wastegate is too small for the turbo, the wastegate can't release enough exhuast to slow the turbo down... I have the same problem with a 38mm tial, my lowest boost is 15psi with a 10psi spring.
