boost creep issue!! gt30 w/ lovefab
I got my car tuned today and we couldn't control the boost creep at all. It would slowly creep to around 20lbs running on a 10lbs wastegate spring. We tried to swap wastegate spring, vacuum source, and we got nothing. Funny thing is before i had the t3/t67 and it held boost @ 10psi without a problem. What would you think be the problem?
Setup is
lovefab mini-me manifold
gt3076
tial44 wastegate
3in exhaust

Re: boost creep issue!! gt30 w/ lovefab (blinx9900)
Would that be because of the lovefab mini-me manifold design? or would i need to upgrade to dual 44mm wastegate or a single bigger wastegate?
This just came to mind, my t3/t67 exhaust side was .63 compared to the gt3076 i'm using now that has a exhaust of .82
Would that be part of the reason why i'm getting boost creep?

i can understand a little creep but 20lbs on a 10 lb spring seems ridiculous, it seems like something else would have to be wrong. Did you check your boost gauge and make sure it is reading accurately, or is it possible that it isn't a 10lb spring?

Re: (carrnut21)
boost guage and hondata smanager confirmed how many psi. The springs are correct because i tried 3 different springs and all the same thing. I might be wrong about boost creeping that high but it usually creeped at least 4-5 psi and it wasn't holding steady. Only time it hold steady was when it was boosting very low, like under 5-6 psi. And then once we hit over that it would creep, and by like 7k rpm it would creep to around 20-22 psi. I'm confused, the 44mm tial wastegate should be enough to hold the gt30. Unless the mini-me manifold have a poor wastegate location?
