Default PROBE pistons BAD NEWS!!!!!!

Never buy probe pistons!!!
My wrist pin on cyl4, 2 cracks. One over the full length and other one 3/4 of the length. Don't know how. No sign of knock. 267 whp. But after comparing the wrist pins, they are really thin if you have an wisco pin next to it.

don't jump to never buying probe pistons simply because a thin walled wrist pin failed.

first call them and see if they will anylize the pin and replace it for you. if they are a quality company that stands behind there product then what more do you want.

i've had an endyn pistons which had the wrist pin oil holes drilled to deep causing a pin hole in the top of the piston as soon as we put any boost to it. doesn't mean there a bad company. i sent it back and they replaced. thats all you can ask for when dealing with high perf parts in my opinion.

I have finally spoken to probe. It was a manufacturing fault. They will replace 4 pins and 1 piston. I rather have a 4 pistons replace. Wi'll seee.
