Default Pressure drop due to intercooler efficiency.

If to consider that average pressure drop through intercooler is 10-15%, based on that, should I run 10-15% higher boost? If I want to run 5psi, should i run 6 or more so it turns into 5psi after going through intercooler?

Someone explain this. Thanks

Default Re: Pressure drop due to intercooler efficiency. (vtec.dc2)

It depends on where your wastegate actuator source is coming from. If it's tapped into the intake manifold, just leave it as is, it'll compensate for the pressure drop automatically. If you have it tapped into the turbo housing, you'll have to adjust the boost to compensate.
