Default Preparing for more nitrous.. What to do..

I am currently running a D15B7 engine in a 89 crx dx.. I am also running a Zex 55 shot and pulled a 14.85 @ 91.8 mph as a best run so far at the track.. I want to jump it up to a 75 shot..

What should I do to my engine to get it ready and what tests should I run on the engine to make sure its good for this amount of juice..

I am currently running NGK v-core non platinum plugs that are 1 heat range colder then stock set at .035 gap..

Should I do a leakdown and compression test on the motor before doing this..
I know I should retard the timing 4 degrees from stock but should I retard it any farther for safety..

Let me know.. Thanks

Does jumping up to a 75 shot require a higher flowing pump than the stock pump?

A dry nitrous system works by increasing your fuel pressure to get the necessary fuel to compensate for the nitrous. I'd go with a high flow fuel pump, just for the peace of mind of having a "new" pump back there. Are you still on the stock pump from back in '89? heh heh

Besides, I don't think Honda designed the D15b7 with the intention of feeding it with extra 75 horses worth of fuel pressure. But then again, you can try it and get away with it for awhile.
