squeak when accleration...........
ok what is going on, i hear some kinda squeak or like a low pitch squeak when i'm accel from 1000rpm - 3000rpm.. higher i don't think i can hear it... it's most evident when i "bounce" the car... what i mean when i say BOUNCE is that say you are in 1st gear, it's very sensitive... so if you press the gas hard then let go very fast, the car will basically lurch forward and do a back/forth motion thingy.... i can hear it most like this..
it sounds as if the sound came from middle or pass side of engine.. not belts... belts i have problem which is another thing, during decel only.. but that's belts for sure....
could this be my turbo?? trans? clutch? engine?? goblins???
i don't hear jackshit at idle, nor if i rev my car at idle... i can cruise it won't make any noise, only low acceleration rpm will make it..
also when the engine/car is cold, usually no noise, when i drive it for like 45 min or more, it makes the noise.... i can make a video of this and see what u guys think but this is all a guessing game..
btw, i used the blue lock tite **** on the flywheel AND pressure plate bolts, so it's not those for sure. used a 200 dollar torque wrench, broke me clutch in for 1000 miles softly and i used some high temp gresse on the thorwout bearing and other clutch parts...
trans is ovreheauld with all new gearsets and synchros FROM HONDA, so basically everything is new... i can' tsee why this could be linked to the trans/cltuch or motor.. (motor is only 6k, brand new block/head)
could turbo be doing this?? it runs hard at 8psi no prob... gets oil and no smoking

I agree. Sounds like when the engine lurches, the rubber is squeaking.

hmmm... which one though?? could it be when i changed my clutch out and when i tightened everything up, one of the mounts were too tight and now it's dead the mount??
if i spray with wd40, will this cure it temp so to see if it really the mount?

you could try that. Spray the rubber parts of all the mounts and drive around. See if it stops squeaking.
I also wouldnt think that over-torqueing the mount bolts would cause a mount to die. You can visually see if the rubber is torn though. Check your mounts out.
As a side note, i dont recommend driving in first gear and letting off the gas quickly. That "jerking" that happens is tough on the engine.

Right, it wont cure the problem, but atleast he'll be able to tell if it is the mounts that are squeaking.

The only other thing I can think of would be if you have a flex pipe in your exhaust system and it is rusting. As the engine or exhaust system wiggles, it may cause a squeaking sound. Kinda stretching on that one though...

Re: squeak when accleration........... (B19CivicHB)
could it be the release bearing on the clutch?? it's brand new but maybe since it wasn't OEM honda, it's piece of ****???
maybe my grease wasn't "urea high temp" so i dunno, i coudln't find it anywhere so i just used this generic high temp grease which is used for in the cv joints and any high speed/extreme temps area...
can i just spray some silicone grease or something similar to grease it up/? i'm not taking out the whole trans just to lube up a damn bearing

I woiuldnt recommend blindly spraying any lubricant into the tranny housing. Overspray might get into the clutch and that = badnews!
