What shot are you running?
Did you retard your timing?
What temp are your plugs, they are supposed to be cold.

Are you running pump gas?

What kinda fuel pump? You will most likely need a bigger pump then a walbro 255. On nitrous its just doesnt pump enough fuel.

stock tune meaning stock ecu???? WOW you can pull that off on like a 50 shot but not a 175 shot...on a 175 shot yo really need some injecotrs a fuel pump and a tune.

and the reason your melting valves is because its running really lean ....creating massive heat and theres no gas to cool it......you need a tune!

I ran a 100 shot on a stock ecu, stock fuel pump, pump gas, no timing retard, denso plugs gapped@ 35. Went 12.57@108 on the breaks then bumped it to 150 with a Walbro 255 and started having problems.

You'll need to at least run Cam2 blue maybe even more octane. You can make the car run GOOD on nitrous but, you'll need a good tune and a walbro 255 will wear out over time on that kind of shot. You will also need to pull out about 6* off timing depending on the gas. You will also need some colder plugs like 7 range and gap them at .028.

With the right tune in the car you can run realy good #'s. I tuned a Civic hb with a stock GSR on a 75 shot direct port it made 266whp and ran a 12.0 on slicks and a 12.3@115 on BFG's

you shuould not be running denso plugs. they are a no-no for nitrous. anything with that type of exposed electrode will either blow off or melt like that.

dont listen to that nonvtec guy. he ahs no idea what hees talking about

yes you can run 150 shot on pump gas.

heres a question for you NONVTECALLMOTOR: if you cant run a 150 shot on pump gas why can you run a 50 shot on it. and for that matter why can you run boost on pump gas??

see....doesnt make any sense.

and no a walbro 255lph wont "wear out" over time. it doesnt get slower and die.

you do infact need to run an extra step larger fuel jet (atleast thats what i do) and some other ignition stuff, like colder plugs ect.

How can it be running lean when your nitrous setup supplies the extra needed fuel. If your running the correct fuel jet with the N20

I think that you may need to go read the BIG nitruos tread in this section.

I think you'll learn a little something.

wow...meant head, insightful.

so was it DP or single fogger or what?

what solenoids were you running, what size lines, it all matters. its not just your fuel pump that is important.

and i wasnt even talking to you, jackass...

and a zex wet kit is only good for 150 (from what i read) so thats probably why you had problems. the solenoids in the box arent that hi-flo. im running the older NOS brand cheaters that are good for 400 hp blasts.

keep that in mind
