precision turbos....
im new to the force induction...i was searching in the classified and notice that precision turbos cost more than any other brand?....why is this so?....might be stupid question....are garrett turbonetics etc just as good?
one reason could be b/c the demand for them is higher than the other brands but last time I checked the Innovative turbos prices were really high. (I could be wrong though)
The reason they cost more is your paying for quality.
The garret turbos come std with 270 thrust bearing while precision comes with 360
The GT sereis however is about the same at both places. Precision uses there own housings which are somewhat ported and smooth compared to others.
Turbonetics is still lagging behind is updating there technology with newer wheels but they are still good turbos

I agree...because I used to have a Turbonetics T3/T4 E and just by changing out to a Precision SC61, I made 50 more HP and 25 more lbs of torque while keeping it at the same boost level. Precision turbo's are pretty much the best out there for the money and quality.
