Default Precision intercooler question...

When they state "31.5" long from endtank to endtank" do they mean the ends of the inlet, and outlet?

What is the width of the inlet, and outlet?

Thanks for any info!

Yes, they mean from the end of the inlet to the end of the outlet. The inlet and outlet are both 2.5".

Oh ok...cool.

Also, I meant the Length of the inlet and outlet not the width (or diameter). My bad.

I'm just wondering how long it is from the sides of the endtanks (not including the inlet/outlet).

Thanks!

They are really REALLY heavy. Feels like a brick wall. lots of fins inside but wont that create pressure drop, doenst look like it will flow good? They are garrett on the self cores with precision endtanks. The endtanks look like they have been copied from apexi endtanks.

Which intercooler were you looking at? I'll measure the inlet/outlet lengths for you.

I was looking into the "Big Kahoona" 10" core.

Thanks Ben!

The Garrett cores are arguably one of the best choices out there, don't be worried.

As i undestand it,

the number of fins has nothing to do with pressure drop. Has to do with the rate of flow of the intercooler.
