on a B16A1, at how many whp would you upgrade to a stronger clutch?

or at how many whp did you broke you stock clutch?

The stock clucth is made for regular daily driving, not for you to be launching and shifting the car @ redline all the time. If you're going to be doing any racing with your car then change the clutch.

I upgrade it before it breaks.... so I would put it on when the turbo goes on.

i know it is better to upgrade the clutch when going turbo... and if you make 1/4mile starts all the time a stock clutch will not last very long...

but if you do normal driving so you treat the clutch not very bad, how many hp is it able to handle without braking after 300miles or so...

i know there are a lot of turbo cars driving around here with stock clutch but noone can definitive say how many the stock clutc aprox. can handle. most do try and error.

i guess the limit is at aprox. 200-220whp if you drive carefully. but i'am not sure.

I honestly couldn't give you a power number, but I've worn stock clutches out with all motor cars before. The best way is to just do it while your there, its not that expensive either. Shop around
