Default Power expectations.

Hey guys. I'm looking to push for 300+hp using my setup.
Let me know what you think and any suggestions you might have. Do you think I can realistically meet my goal with what I have?

I have a b16a2
Srp low comp pistons
Eagle con rods
Acl race main and conrod bearings
NPR piston rings
Cometic HG
Arp main studs and head studs
0.48a/r garrett turbo
Cheap eBay turbo manifold
SARD r2d2 bov
550cc turbo rx7 injectors
3"turbo back system
Hondata s200 management

I also have a large holset turbo if I need it.

You could. Gotta be more specific with the turbo. .48A/R is only a turbine housing size. We must know the rest of it. As for parts components to the engine.. short answer: Yes

Vague lol

Also you don't really need rods and pistons for 300

you'll be pushing that turbo to make 300. It will be the choke point of the setup especially with a B16. But fun!

It will take 15-18 psi minimum to make that power... the turbo only flows 35lb/min at its limit so you're going to be at the end of the turbo to make 300 at the wheels

Thanks for the info guys.
I have a holset h1a turbo also.
It's similar to a holset h1c.
It's massive in comparison.

Use the holset and get more than 300 or tune it to close to 300. Im running a COMPLETELY STOCK b16a stock block stock head stock intake manifold. I have arp head studs and cometic hg. Im runnin a 50trim turbonetics and peakboost ramhorn manifold at 8psi making 315whp on 440 rc's and a walbro. You should have no problem making 300 running the holset.

Depends on what kind of power delivery he wants.... bigger isn't always better

The gt28r will deliver a much more broad, flat and linear torque curve... making for a very fun street car

The holset will be much more laggy and a lot more "peakier" in comparison, especially on a b16... it would be much ,more suited for top end power production and aggressive driving I.e. highway pulls. Especially if its got the 12cm turbine housing, which most seem to do
