Default possible to up the boost without a controller??

stock ls with a drag3 kit...i thought those suppose to be like 7lbs(deltagate).but when i get on it hard the boost seems to just keep on climbing as high as 10...i dunno if its the gauge(phantom boost gauge tapped into a vaccum source off of the IM) i let off gas when i seen it get that high and have yet ran it hard..so is there a way i can check on that somehow...thanx

Its called boost spiking, its caused by that cheap wastegate cough** deltagate and the drag manifold is also notorious for spiking. Most likely its not your boost gauge. I suggest upgrade to a tial and get a better manifold.

just buy a grainger type controller. You can set it at 7 and it holds better. Myself and 2 friends all have those cheap wastegates..they ALWAYS spike....not your guage
