POS Walbro pump
well i'm going boost on my y7 beater so i decided to swap out the old interior out for some new carpet and itr interior,so i was like **** it i'll throw in the walbro 255 all at once.So i take out the factory one and i swap in the walbro piece (brand new) i got it with my kit and go to turn on the car and it doesn't prime,i checked fuses, relay everything so i swap in the old one and it fires right up,could it be this brand new pump was defective?
Did the Car start before the interior was takin out???
It sounds like it is the MAIN relay. But it can be possible for a new pump to be broken....all it takes is a slippery finger from the UPS guy. I wouldn't go strait to blaming Walbro!
Are you SURE it is a Walbro, Alot of these pumps that come with kits are rip-offs!
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WIRING!!!
Reply back, I hope everything turns out well

Yea, happened to me too, worked fine for 2 days then took a **** for no reason. Called Walbro and the company I bought it from, apparently Walbro doesn't do warranty claims
well i've got a walbro on my other hatch and it's been fine for almost 2 years, but if it was the main relay the car wouldn't start at all not even with the old pump so maybe i got lucky and got a defective one and it's a walbro pump
well the thing is i got the fuel pump when i bought my greddy kit from a freind and he had included it in the sale of the kit,and i heard walbro doesn't warranty there pumps

yeah the walbro pump was new,and i heard from a freind and read it here on h-t so i think i'll get another new pump and see what happens or stick with the stocker which should be good for 8-10psi with 450's and aem fuel rail/fpr
Well, the worst case senario is:
1) Put in the stock one.
2) Buy a new one for $80 (not a bad price considering what it does)!
3) These Guys are very nice, buy from them: (New Site)
