I have a turbo civic, I was racing and it was boosting fine in first and second, when i threw third it bogged out and started driving regular with no boost, there was no smoke but now it wont boost!!!! DAM!! i opended the hood and reved throttle and put my hand in front of the turbo, it is suckoing in air. It is going to highboost for Faro to fix but i need some ideas so i can understand what might have happened. thanks for all input.

 

Probably blew a coupler off

 

O off of one of the pipes?? i didnt think of that, O DAM That would be an easy fix I pray it's that. any other thoughts. by the way i am running downstairs to check the couplers lol

BOOSTED 2.4 YOU ARE THE MAN AND 1158 YOUR CORRECT ASWELL. ALEX YES IT WAS A HELL OF A BOOST LEAK!! I FOUND THE PIPE THAT GOES INTO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD OFF THE COUPLER!!! I PUT IT BACK IN THE COUPLER AND TIGHTENED IT HARD AS HELL, WENT FOR A TEST RIDE AND BOOSTED THE **** OUT OF MY TOWN LMAO!! YOU GUYS HERE AT HONDA-TECH ARE GREAT!! B20 IS A THING OF THE PAST FOR ME NOW!!!!

 

NOW I CAN SLEEP TONIGHT!!LMAO I KNOW I WAS GOING TO TOSS AND TURN AND NOT BE ABLE TO FOCUS AT WORK TILL I GOT TO HIGHBOOST AND FARO WOULD HAVE LOOKED AT IT. I NEED THE THAT WAS EASY BUTTON! I WAS ALREADY THINKING DAMM I NEED A NEW TURBO FOR HONDA DAY, BUT THEN I WOULD NEED CUHNA TO TUNE WHICH THIS CLOSE TO HONDA DAY WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE.

T-bolt clamps and bead rolled piping works wonders

 

I always spray the inside of new couplers with brake cleaner. Helps get rid of the release oils from when they are made, or so I have been told.

 

This crap cannot be real... Seriously guys...
