please help again ASAP...o2 sensor on obd2 cars?

where do i put the o2 sensor if my car doesnt even have one??
are there supposed to be an 02 sensor on the stock headers or DP on a 99 gsr? i see one right before the cat, but its not on the DP. i dont have one on my DP or headers, but theres a hole for one on the fmax DP. should i just weld that thing up?
