I can easily fit a filter on my A/C & P/S compatible top mount. I'm just too lazy to go to the parts store to find one, lol.
Suppose I could go to K&N's website.

AC/PS with a few radiator mods; WAIC is best, but the dual-pass intercoolers work ok too
</TD></TR></TABLE>
With an IC like that you will not have enough cooling of the air. Not to mention that your pressure drop will be much more drastic compared to your standard single pass IC. That will be an important factor especially if you are running a big turbo like in the picture above. I wouls only use a W->A IC like stated above.

what about using rows goine up and down like lot of v8 guys use?

thats actually teh ideal intercooler with the rows going up and down and the inlet/outlet can be on either side or both sides. When you have th erows up and down you have much more cooling surface. The most ideal would be up and down tubes and inlet on top one side and bottom other side. this is perfect example

I, on the other hand, disagree with your statement. The air is not in the IC tubes long enough to be better or more efficient than your standard IC. The IC that you linked to is also crap. Look at the end tanks. What a shitty/horrible design. I would never use that thing nor would I recommend it.

Well i wasnt saying go buy THAT ONE jesus arent we a bit to literal. And that design does allow for more effecient cooling. you have more area that the charge is being passed through. in a reg intercooler most of the charge blows through the passages where the intalet and outlet are. Now if your blowing the charge straight liek in that intercooler and its going into all the passages essentially in theory anyway you have better cooling of the charge.
I personally run a cheap *** bar/plate normal intercooler not of the largest size and chareg temps have never been an issue. With the properly sized turbocharged and a well turbo turbo system and engine it shouldnt be an issue. SHOULDNT being the key word because we all know this shouldnt happen but always end up happening anyway. Thats the way **** works i guess And again its all personal preference and how you feel what works best in your setups. were all on here giving our opinions, thats what a forum is about

I dont like air to water setup's on street car
nor they're legal in SFWD

I have been talking about it, but now I am posting pics of the topmount.
I want to thank AFI for getting me this manifold so quickly and for a price that I could not refuse!
For Jesse and the gang.
