Kinds of make me wonder would I be wasting money going to carillo rods ? Instead of eagle rods

Eagles are fine for up to 600 whp.
If you plan on making much more I would go with a better rod.

I have made 650+ on eagle rods without issues.

Nope. Tuned a car right after yours with the same software & had no issues.

My problem is I'm not sure how long will I want to stay at the 500 whp level . I've only had a mid 300 whp car .so I'm working my way up.

You may as well overbuilt the motor for more hp :-)
