pcv system mod or no need?

is it safe to just put a filter on the valve cover breather and NOT doing any modifications on the pcv system and leave it as it is? im boosting around 8-10 psi on my d16 with a t3/t4.

I'd suggest either running some welded bungs on the valve cover or running the endyn catch can/breather set up.
