Ultra High temp coating Q.
I am trying to think (and the search function turned up nothing either) which site I was on that someone had a link to a company that sold ultra high temp coatings (able to withstand up to 4000 degrees)........they were not cheap (something like $300.00 a gallon). I was wondering if anyone had any info like that (want to do my header and inside my turbine housing/exhaust ports)?

Re: (Lost H)
- Send it out to be Ceramic Coated.
- Buy $ for some nice High Temp. Paint
- Heat Wrap
- Pay the High Temp. Paint at Advance Auto.
Why would you need something to withstand 4000F anyway? EGT's do not get near that high. I'd go with the Ceramic Coating. But that is my opinion.
Hell, our incinerator at work doesn't even get that high. And that thing has to kill biological agents.

Not looking to go with anything that drastic, just using it as an example. If I could find some that holds up to 2500 degrees I would be happy (May still be slight overkill, but better safe than sorry).

Just go with a swaintech coating and then use some high temp paint in the color of your choosing to finish it off. If you wanna go the extra mile heat wrap it as well.
