Valve Cover Vent System
Alright so im finally getting around to setting up a vent system on my valve cover. Im picking up a valve cover that has 2 fittings already welded into it, i just need some -10AN fittings and some SS lines.
Now my question is, the correct way so setup a vent system on a valve cover is to have the pressure "sucked" from the valve cover? or instead having a catch can hooked up to it, alittle more info would be appreciated.
A friend of mine was telling me to get 2 fittings welded into the downpipe and hooking it from the valve cover to dp, is the dp too hot of an area to have fittings welded on it.
any comments are appreciated, thanks

Re: Valve Cover Vent System (nY's FiNeSt)
you want suction where the crank is not the valve cover from what i understand, you should just run a catch-can that vents to the atmosphere

No. pretty much vents itself unless you want to buy and after market vac setup, once you put the ports on the valve cover you should be ok with and excess blow buy you get
