partial throttle lean spot HELP!g
Hey guys...
Before say anything I have a Hyundai Tiburon 03 2.0.
I just boosted it and am running 2 PSI for now to get all the kinks worked out.
There is an issue though. At partial throttle the ECU sees the 02 sensor voltage rich ( because of the larger injectors and SAFC) and decreases the injector pulse. I cant get around this...
On partial throttle I am running 2 PSI and 14.5-15:1 a/f!!! AHHHHHHHHh This is at partial throttle only... at WOT I am running 12:1.
Dont know if this happens to you guys... no hyundai guys had an answer... any ideas??? Dont like running around like this...
Thanks so much,
Andrew

Re: partial throttle lean spot HELP!g (adeihl)
AFC will do that.
ECU thinks it's always in vacuum, and you are keeping part throttle...
I also with voltage clamp and FMU end up in part throttle boost in closed loop (~14.5A/F)... I don't like it.. but.. o'well.. at least fuel consumption is lower :D

Re: partial throttle lean spot HELP!g (boostedbastard)
I know I was oversteppin my bounderies with the post... but I thought the streight H's and crooked H's could get along for a while :-P
I have been thinking of using a Potentiometer on the IAT sensor. Although this will advance timing a bit... I have the DIS 2 unit to help out up top.
Thanks for your replys, I just dont like such lean conditions! esp on boost.
