Default oversized pistons and sleeving both necessary?

I am going to get some low compression pistons for my d series (65k on the motor)
so far, no real issues that i know of that could have damaged the stock sleeves...
if I buy pistons with a .020 over... will the walls be too thin requiring a sleeving?

thanks

if i remember correctly there are people who have ran .020 over on stock d-series sleeves and they were ok. i don't think you wanna go any larger though. of course the question of sleeves ultimately depends on how much you plan to boost, and how safe you want to be.

well my plan for this year will be
log style manifold
T3 super 60 turbo... .48 A/R
gonna run afc hack (hopefully uber or hondata soon )
and with the new pistons and rods trying to hit a good 15 psi with tuning...
