Default overheating ?s

so heres the setup
85mm ls vtec
wiseco pistons
crower rods
acl race bearings
cometic head gasket
ported head
stock dual core civic si radiator
slim fan pushing air
s366 topmounted on sls twin gated top mount manifold
turbo blanket
heat wrapped down pipe

the car only seems to over heat after a pretty hard street run but once its hot it seems to stay there or drop some then go back up.

any advice is greatly appreciated!

i think pretty much all turbo hondas suffer from lack off airflow due to the fmic blocking the grill. so you either need to get fresh air to the rad or just a better fan setup w/ shroud. no name slim fans dont flow as much as they claim. also, using a puller is more effective.

get a good shroud as mentioned and if its the stock si radiator i would ditch it and go with aftermarket like pwr or koyo

Mishimoto triple core and a good fan like Xenocron.com sells.

Thos crappy slim fans are garbage. That maradyne 13" should be the last fan you will ever need.
