If your running a front mount intercooler the air that use to travel freely to your radiator is now being blocked by that intercooler... Plus the engine temp. raises due to the exhaust housing and down pipe from the turbo... if the exaust housing is close to you radiator is going to raise your engine temperatures.... An old method to let the heat out is to put washers between your hood and hinges to let heat escape by your wippers... hope this helps...

check your radiator cap. if it's old it mught not be holding pressure properly thus allowing the fluid to boil at a lower temp.

could be a thermostat as well.

yea man, mine works perfectly you take that rubber seal off and while cruising at like 60 70 km you can actually feel heat comming out if you put your hand on the windshield.

i have no issues and if for whatever reason it doesn't work for you take the washers out.

yeah because the reason for propping the hood in the rear is to get air in there, not let it out. when you prop it up though, some heat may leak out, but the pressure makes the air passing thru the front into the radiator basically slow down and it just looks dumb. i mean WTF, a 24 hr race with le mans cars and they never have a problem with overheating and they sure as hell dont prop the rear of their hoods up.

this link repeats a thread made a while back on some other board from a very smart fellow that speaks EXACTLY about what im saying.
