I cant tell if its just my motor beginning to wear down or maybe its coincidental.. but i had my car tuned back in april/may when it was cooler..maybe 50 degrees or so and at that time whenever i would boost especially in second gear, it would break the tires loose all the time.. now slowly as we approached summer and its consistenly 80 degrees outside it feels like my car is alot more sluggish and it will not break the tires loose anymore in second gear..only in first. Ive done a few compression tests...all which yielded numbers which are perfectly normal..

All i wanted to know is ... Does outside air temp and air density and humidity really play that much of a roll in how much power your BOOSTED honda makes? When i was N/A the heat didnt seem to make THAT much of a difference, but my goodness it really seems like my car just doesnt want to pull as hard as it did when i first had it tuned.

ambient temps do have quite an impact on performance. You can lose 10 to 15 HP just on temperature alone. I forgot the ratio was...somethine like 5hp to every 15 degrees F...or something like that. Having said that, you can/should tune your ecu to compensate by having it run a bit leaner on hotter days since the air density is lower.

My car actually runs quicker on hotter days now...go figure
