expert tuners I have a question?
why would the elevation of a car beeing tuned will have a different a/f ratio then any other car that lower or higer in elevation ? even if they have the same set up ?
I was talking with my father today and he was explaining me about air density and I couldn't understand much about it .........
like for ie 2 cars that have identicals setups will have diferent power range in diferent altitudes
thanks in advance

Re: expert tuners I have a question? (EGSR)
think about the ocean
at the very bottom you have a lot of water on top of you
that makes a lot of pressure
the pressure make the water denser (not very much because water is hard to compress)
now at sea level you have a lot of air pushing down on the air around you
the pressure causes the air to be denser and thats good
so you have more oxygen per cubic foot
now on top of mt everst theres less air above you so the air is less dense
and theres less oxygen per cubic foot than at sea level
thats why people that climb mt everst have to take air with them
because theres less oxygen your short of breath just standing
because your lungs have to take more air in to get the same amount of oxygen
at the very bottom you have a lot of water on top of you
