In order to boost my car should I...?
Sell the b16b for around 3600 and buy a b16a for around 1700 installed and use that 1200 or so to buy pistons and rods for the b16a? or should i buy an itr crank and put in forged b18c internals into the b16b.
also will a b16a with forged internals be able to run 12 psi on a drag kit at ~280 whp all day if properly tuned?

It can, but you're going to need some better fuel management than what drag sends with the kit.
Although personally instead of selling the B16B for a B16A and getting rods/pistons, I would sell the B16B for a B18C or do an LS/VTEC setup, the quicker spool and more torque makes for a much more fun street car.

if i were to do that then i might as well just put a b18c crank in my current engine and get b18c forged pistons and rods. that way i could still utilize the b16b head.

If the whole premise of selling the CTR swap was so you can get extra $$$ to build a stronger bottom end, I suggested the LS/VTEC setup because you can do it for about the same price as a B16, so you can get the extra torque and still have enough dinero for forged rods/pistons.
