Default opinions on my turbo setup for my d16z6

my setup will be a kit from turbocalculator.com that includes the exhaust mani.,garret t3 turbo 60 trim and .48 A/R, and 35mm external wastegate and 450 injectors. i will be running this with uberdata boosting about 9psi daily driven. let me know what u think.

450cc injectors will be fine for 9psi. 60 trim? that is pretty big....You may be better off with a 57 trim.
Uberdata will be fine also.
If you want to be on the safe side...I'd suggest at least getting a good head gasket and ARP head bolts.
That should be adequate for your 9psi goal.

please please buy your parts from elsewhere besides turbo calculator. i have seen numerous bad things come from their turbos breaking and crap.

as for your parts, they are all well suited for a d16z6. just like i said dont go through turbo calculator or ssautochrome. check the classifieds here instead

DO NOT BUY FROM TURBO CALCULATOR!!!!
I purchased a rebuilt turbo from them and it blew a seal after 15 minutes of driving.

not to mention i had purchased the same exact turbo. IMO for a good setup get the spoolin peformance mani,dp, dumptube, and intercooler piping, dsm 450's or rc440'sw, buy a turbo from b18bturbo on the site, and get a greddy bov and flamenco-t oil line kit. and use uberdata for fuel management and a tial wastegate from camp1320.

the forced induction classified, just piece together you turbo kit but with the parts that you want, probably come out cheaper than from turbocalculator

Just get a T3 .48/.60 60 trim. That's the turbo I have on my d16z6 and it works great.

Just don't buy it from turbocalculator, buy it from phoenixturbo or something.

Actually I've heard that greddy hits boost too soon like 2500, loses power at high end and burns up tires off line....might want a T3 instead of a greddy turbo takes longer to spool but throws out more air throughout powerband, specially for vtec. (Dropping a turbonetics T3 with drag intercooler 450cc injectors in one week 2.5"inch piping hoping for good results....Also If I could get an opinion on a good waste gate for running 9 psi)

a good t3? my best choice whoud be the t3 super 60. quick spool and pulls all the to redline. its ideal for sohc's and its good for up to 325- 350whp.

im goin to be useing it for my built z6. just cant decide which a/r. .48 or .63
