Default Opinion on internal wastegates?

Do they really creep that much? When I search and read the threads, everyone makes it seem like they are really bad. I'm deciding if I should spend the extra $200 on an external unit. My setup will consist of a d-series with a T3 super 60 running somewhere between 7-9psi for a 200whp goal.

Internal gates are fine for low to moderate boost applications but when you try to turn it up more it'll start to spike. 200-250whp on a internal gate should be fine.

internal gates are fine unless you have shitty boost control. Mostly people that talk **** about internal wastegates are people with Greddy turbos, the only reason that they make claims about creep is because the greddy kits were not meant to be pushed past 5.5psi, and the elbow and wastegate flapper were designed poorly.
I wouldnt really suggest running an internal wastegate due to the fact that they may cause problems if not ran correctly, and external wastegates just make more power....... period.

I'm running a 18g greddy kit on my LS @ 15 pounds of boost with a Apexi avcr. It's a good boost controller but after I went from a 2.25" exhaust to a 3 inch I can't hold boost for **** even with the boost controller off running off the gate 7psi spiking to 15-18-11psi all through the powerband.

That all got really confusing at the end, the cast elbow is the root of many exhaust problems with the Greddy kits, thats all i am going to say so this thread doesnt get jacked
