Default internal & external wastegate

I have a SOHC Greddy kit and it is internally wastegated. Does that mean I do not need to put an external one on? If I up my boost in the future will the internal still be adiquit? (sp)...LOL

the internal waste gate is installed on the turbo hopefully

the external is added to it usually found on the manifold

greddy makes quality parts crank the boost!

ive gotta similar questions, ive gotta 18G greddy setup, and i believe the internal WG is @ 6 PSI, i can get it up to 9 using the boost controller (highest ive attempted) and @ WOT itll hold @ nine, but when i let off a little, it will go right down to 6. is there anyway to adjust the internal WG?

grand nationals had internal gates. i was running 26-28psi with mine. a good internal gate is fine. greddy makes good parts you should be ok.
