Open deck H22A5.
How safe is opendeck H22A5( Euro motor for 5 gen, same as H22A4 ). How much boost and power can hold the this open deck engine block? We are going to resleeved it for forget pistons anyway. There are block gards in the market. How about them for safty? We looking for 350 whp.

IWhy dont you just resleever the motor closed deck? I thought all sleeved motors were closed deck anyways? If you were to turbo a stock UNSLEEVED H22a4/5 then you can only go as high as 9-10 PSI. On stock open deck H22's the ringlands usually break at around 9-10 PSI on superchargers like JRSC or turbos.
